Thank you all !!! I'm so excited! I Joined DA 6 years ago, when I joined I couldnt even draw stick figures

, but I joined with the hope that being a Member of DA would help me develop as an artist. 6 years later I realise it has done more than that, it's let me develop and learn, but also forge new relationships with amazing artist all over the world. This place means the world to me, it's been with me, and YOU've been with me through my career so far, and hopefully you'll stick by me as my career furthers.. I love art and I hope that comes across in my work, and in the things I do. I Love you all!

I'm so honored to become a senior, and I just cant stop grinning, big thanks to whoever made it happen !

I run a monthly NEWS feature called 'Illustration Monthly'...archives in my favs folder

I've had to take a break from it because I was in

hospital for 5 months, I got out late January and since then it's been a struggle. I'm in so much pain.

I'm trying to get back working again, I long to paint and it's frustrating. I hope to get back to my news feature soon, but until then I'd like to find guests to show their favs from the Illustration galleries for a month, if this interests you please drop me a

Home From Hospital - at last!

It's been MONTHS but finally, I am home from hospital and enjoying the enforced few more weeks of bedrest by having some DeviantART time!!!

Thank you to everyone who sent cards, flowers or just well wishes, you guys really kept me going throughout it all!!!

Just a quick update to let you all know Suzanne is seriously ill just now, she has spent over a month in hospital , had another major spine surgery and is home for a 'break' for a week, maybe more, before more spine surgery.. please excuse her for not answering notes. comments during this difficult time - I know most of you will remember she has been battling spine and paralysis problems since last yr, this is the same thing happened again but it's caused much more damage.. the nxt surgery will fix a leak in her spinal cord, it wont fix her paralysis, she's not getting better, but hope she will be stable!!!

A very clever bunny spotted the very first gorjuss product from Santoro! It's a very lovely 2010 diary, and I dooooo have one of these and have peeked at all the little pages and it's just perfect ! You wont believe the little details it's crammed full of, and it comes with little gorjuss stickers too! Each section has details and sketchyy bits taken right out of my paintings.. you'll love it!

Ltd Edition Prints - The Four Deadliest Sins

Hello everyone, we have new prints for you.. not just *new* but extra special limited edition prints on a beautiful paper too... these look *just* as good as the originals!

Its been a day of photographing and listing, these prints are amazing... so deep in colour and they feel good enough to eat.. though they are not suitable for eating!!! This is a re-visit to limited print runs for us and may lead to more exclusive prints being sold in this way. It of course will not affect the current open edition prints we sell, we love these prints.. (and the open edition prints are just as luxurious feeling) but sometimes a painting just needs to be that little bit more special than the others.

This series was recently exhibited at Swoon ( black maria gallery, LA) and all of the originals will not be returning. A HUGE thank you to the buyers of these originals... you know who you are.... So this is your chance to grab a limited print, the ORIGINALS are now all sold so it is the only way to get your hands on these beauties ( or should that be gorjuss-es?)

Available in the GorjussArt Shop, these are also available in our ETSY shop...remember, 25 only, so catch them quickly!

We have TWO option on them too, buy them as 'just the print' or .. buy them 'Framed' !

In the same frames the originals were in!.. example:

The Swoon Pieces..

The beautifully cream coloured carved plaster and real wood heavy frames come with glass ( not plastic) and will ship with your print ready mounted ( matted) in place, just choose the 'framed' option when chcecking out (*please note this option isn't available at etsy!)

***WE WILL TAKE PRE-ORDERS FOR THESE, email us and we'll reserve your order for you for up to a week.. first come first served basis.. please only preorder if you are sure you want them!

ALL WEEK .. we know some of you keep missing the one days sales, so we've been extra generous and extended this one to last all week ! NOTE: for prints, buy one print, get another ( of equal or lesser value) absolutely FREE !

The discount will show up in your shopping cart, AT CHECKOUT STAGE 2 - sign into your account and click on checkout for the discount to be put into effect!!! see screenshot below for WHEN the discount shows up:

Dont panic that your basket show the full price as you shop, it wont discount anything until you try to checkout! ..( stage 2 of checkout (it will confirm your address and then discount on the next step !) .. you MUST add at least two for the discount to work.. if you are buying on Etsy it does NOT work like this, please read below for special Etsy instructions !

Thank you for the well wishes, the surgery took longer than expected to recover from, but all is well now! .. my back has improved too, which is weird, but I'm not complaining! ..

I've got a few Ink originals at the 'Sketch It Out...' show in AWP Gallery, NYC til the end of the month, if you are near do drop by and have a peek !

I had another surgery, and as per.. no notice it was happening until, it was happening ! lol .. one of these days i'll plan it better!

Not on my Back this time, this time they're attacking the front ( ha!) .. i've promised Mr G I'm not planning on having surgery every 6 months forever.. honest!

I'm recovering now, it all went well, but the wounds in my stomach dont want to heal now.. and they're sore.. i'm sposed to be lying still and not moving much to help them heal.. already had to have them - re-glued' yesterday ! yuck ! Thank gawd for laptops! ( it's lying next to me!) ..

i've found myself addicted to Twitter .. ( see the twitter module box thingy below!) .. and looming deadlines for exhibitions are creeping ever so closer.. must get back up and drawing soon...

We raised a whopping $700 for comic relief - thank you all who purchased the vampire girl and helped totter the total ! You guys rock !

Restoring Rhonda is made by Skunk Studios and I was thrilled when they contacted me asking to use one of my paintings in their game, and even more thrilled to be the very first painting you come across! It PC version was released last year but now there's a Mac version too! It's a jewel swapping game, and loads of fun to play ! Try it out for free ( @ Big Fish Games ) at the links below:</span>

Congratulations Winners - We've sent you a wee email !Here's the winning Tags below (in order 1st - 3rd)

I'd like to thank EVERYONE who entered - I cant believe how many entries we received - you could say we were 'snowed under' hehehe!!   but the quality of the tags were amaaaaazing ! And// well I'm glad I didnt have to choose the winners !!!

Our Calendars are now SOLD OUT !  If you were lucky enough to get one, feel free to send us a snapshot of it in action!! ( we even forgot to keep one for the gorjuss office ! d'oh!)

The official Just Gorjuss Group have now moved over (fromMSN) to the new sparkly forum ( gorjuss.co.uk/forum ), we hope they will be very happy there !  We're planning on joining the members there for a gorjuss chat, on Saturday the 10th Jan, so if you're a member drop by and say hello !

We know lots of you are readers of this magazine.. yes .. The new  issues of Homes & Interiors scotland magazine has a wee gorjuss ad in it!
